“pics or it didn’t happen”
In October 2024, I was fortunate to be selected for the Studio/ LAB Residency at [nueBOX] in Phoenix, Arizona. This immersive experience is providing me with the time, space, and resources to re-fresh my creativity and explore new directions in my work.
During my time at [nueBOX], I’m dedicated to developing a new evening-length work with movement, photography, and film exploring the ephemerality of performance art. The residency offers the perfect opportunity to experiment with movement, interdisciplinary art forms, space, and time.
It’s not only giving me the time and freedom to develop my practice but it’s also allowed me to engage in meaningful conversations with fellow artists from diver backgrounds. Upon writing this page, we’re halfway through the residency and are now at a point to open up for workshops that allows participants to dive into our creative process.
I’m deeply grateful to [nueBOX] for providing such a great environment. Their support made this experience possible, and I look forward to continuing the creative journey sparked by this residency. I highly encourage fellow artists to apply for future residencies like this one—www.nuebox.org!

About my work: "My work is versatile and dynamic. As a mover, I enjoy blending contemporary athletic styles with waacking, house, vogue, breaking, and gestural movement. In collaboration with others, I prioritize incorporating their unique movement styles and comfort levels, allowing everyone to express their authentic selves. Through this process, we will explore various forms of expression, including dance, photography, film, and written media."
